VINTAGE VIBES is a caffeine-free loose leaf rooibos tea with creamy caramel and vanilla toffee vibes. This blend has been well received since our launch and we owe that to its versatility. Rooibos teas have a natural honey and molasses taste to them so they are perfect for curating as a "dessert tea". And we have done that so beautifully with VINTAGE VIBES.
When brewed, VINTAGE VIBES is a beautiful rich amber color and gives off aromas of toffee, caramel and molasses. Tea Recipe: "Caramel Cream Old Fashioned"
Step 1: Craft an Caramel Cream Rooibos Infused Whiskey/Bourbon
1 teaspoon VINTAGE VIBES rooibos tea
8 oz. whiskey/bourbon (your favorite kind)
Instructions: Add bourbon to a mason jar or airtight container with VINTAGE VIBES rooibos loose leaf tea. Close the container and infuse for 12 hours. Strain the tea leaves.
Step 2: Craft Your Caramel Cream Old Fashioned
2 oz Caramel Cream Infused Bourbon/Whiskey
1/2 oz simple syrup (sugar water)
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 dashes orange bitters/1 orange peel
Instructions: Grab your favorite double-old fashioned glass, add simple syrup, both bitters, and the infused whiskey/bourbon (from the above recipe). Stir well. Add ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
P.S. If you're not an rooibos fan, you can substitute it with our BOSS VIBES Vanilla Earl Grey tea blend; it's a knock out with this tea cocktail as well.
