We are almost through the first month of the new year. That means some of us are still going strong with our New Year's resolutions and some of us (cough cough - me) have dropped off that wagon.
I was thinking that there must be an easier way to be a better me ... without commiting to going to the gym 3-5 times a week ... just eating salads and low carb diets, etc.
I ran across an article that said when you plateau on coffee sometimes you can stunt your metabolism... and replacing coffee with green tea or green tea blends can dramatically increase your metabolism. One specific source study showed that drinking 5 cups of green tea per day can increase your energy expenditure by 90 calories.
With so much annoyance at the pressure to go to the gym, I decided to try this out. One week has passed and I've lost 3 lbs. I'm looking forward to losing a little more in week two. I will show you my regiment below:
When I wake up: I have 2 cups of Luxe Vibes, with a splash on almond milk it really satisfies like coffee.
Mid Afternoon by Lunch: I have a large glass of Lush Vibes over ice.
At night: I have 1 cup of Chill Vibes, to help with sleeping.
So I challenge you to a more sustainable routine for a better you this New Year! Let's call it:
F#*K the gym: Just drink tea
